romance?

as u notice theres been quite a few entries on relationships... mainly on efforts from the ladies side.. so today we shall focus on how to please a lady...

its an open secret that all girls like to be pampered... they feel happy when they receive something expensive from their partners, or when their partners bring them to a fancy restaurant. but most blokes out there doesnt seem to realise that gals are just as happy when they go to a hawker centre, or they will be happier if their partners made them something a simple card or a flower folded from a tissue paper (not used one lah!)

still dun get what i am trying to drive at? what i am trying to say is that.. yes a basket of diamonds will make me very happy.. but the basket of diamonds would not hold any value near to that love poem u write especially for me! the same scenerio a bunch of hand picked wild flowers that u bring back from camping would make me just as happy as the expensive bouquet of roses.

couples always complain that theres nothing to do in singapore, or perth... i personally think that theres heaps of stuff that can be done... for example, in singapore couples can go to the back of the airport near the runway to see planes taking off and landing -- thats my favourite pasttime... i rather do that than to spend 19bucks and rot in the theater.. or take a stroll at the beach, brunch at botanical gardens, do something that u both like -- go karting, wakeboarding, flying kite or even taking a spin in your car would make the lady very happy... its after all about the company not so much about the activity.

a weekend get away doesnt necessarily meant that u have to book that 5 star hotel in hong kong for that shopping trip or an expensive trip to paris and milan-- yes it'd be VERY nice.. but it is also nice to go camping at pular ubin, or drive down to magaret river to the vine yards or a short spa get away at bintan resorts.

those little things that a guy would do for the lady -- open the car door for her to get in, guide her by her waist, give her your jacket when she is cold, push that heavy glass door and keep it open for her to get in, send her to her door step after your date, call / or at least her when you get home from sending her home -- let her know that you reached home safely. these little gestures touch her heart even after the courtship ended and into the relationship. ladies do not take these little gestures for granted, we appreciate them very much. these little gestures make women stay in a relationship because they know that the man they are going out with truly cares for them truly... so instead of throwing us a diamond everytime, why not just give us that little caring gesture will keep us linger longer than you would imagine than with expensive treatments!

relationships often become boring as couples stopped their activities altogether.. especially for married couples. dating doesnt stop when u get married.. married couples could still go on dates -- to the moves, watching planes taking off and landing, dinner weekend get-aways like before marriage.

it doesnt mean that when u are with someone for a long time u dun need romance anymore. its up to u to keep it going.
