Love or Lust?

I have been wanting to pen my thoughts down on this topic, but I haven't got any clue to pen them down... I shall try it now..

Been going on and on about this topic for a long time.. Does "Love At First Sight" really exist in this world? Or at least in this fast paced world that we are all living in now?

First thing first, first impression counts, you like what you are seeing because the person infront of you is an eye candy... How can one be sure that it is love at first sight? People might say i am just being a wet blanket or they might also say that i am jealous that I am not lucky enough to experience this kind of feeling... Perhaps... I am just seeing from a more realistic point of view... There's hardly love at first sight - to me its more like LUST at first sight! I mean come on... Would you be ready to give up your life for someone you have just met?

Loving someone to me is that you cannot live without that person, you will be willing to give up part of your body for that person. Not many people will be willing to go through pain in a scenerio the peroson you love is sick and needed a kidney transplant. Anyone would do that for the person they love, give up a kidney and let the other person live. But would you give up your kidney for a person whom you have just met? 95% of the people I asked would not do that!

All I am saying is that love does not happen overnight. Not what I would believe in personally. Neither do I believe in love can be cultivated as time goes by. Not saying that it is impossible, but imagine if this person is someone that you cannot stand seeing, how could you even grow to love him/ her?

Perhaps what i have written down is not going anywhere.. Perhaps even confuse anyone who reads this entry more. All I am trying to say is that Love at first sight is not something that I personally believe in, to me love begins from lust. Maybe I will change my perspective when Love At First Sight happpens to me one day.... Maybe...

What Your Sleeping Position Says

You are secretly sensitive, but you often put up a front.
Shy and private, you yearn for security.
You take relationships slowly.
You need lots of reassurances before you can trust.
