Reflections of the life as a working gal

It's been more than a year since I came back from Perth or rather Melbourne where I drove to from Perth. Life has it's ups and downs.....

I started working in the company as an IT trainer, and after more than 9 months in schools I have decided that I prefer to conduct training as a rovering trainer, as I am the kind who likes to travel and not stucked in one place. I came out to be a rovering trainer. But only one week as a rover, I was back in a school where discipline was bad, actually the trainer we hired was a bad choice, so I was placed there for fire-fighting purposes. Was surprised at how I managed to communicate with some of the more difficult pupils and build up my classroom management skills from there.

It's just life, when I felt totally demoralised during those moments when I screwed up. I know that I just have to pick myself up and learn from the mistakes I made. I am lucky cuz this is the first real proper job in my 27 years! Lucky for me, people I met so far are really nice people who are willing to take me under their wings and coach me. I am lucky to have a boss that is totally willing to give me chances to learn and excel in things I do. The professional and personal development I received from this job are the most precious rewards I got the from job.

Got my first promotion after the first year, and my second promotion after one month as an executive. I take on my new role as a Programme Development Manager with stride and told myself never to be complacent - being complacent also leads to great downfall.

I am indeed a bitch when it comes to work, when work needs to be done it has to get done no matter what. I am just grateful to the team that I am working with taking in the bitchy side of me. Cuz they just know that if a bitch is what it takes to get work done, they'd just work with one. Then again unfortunately for th rest of the team, there are total headcount of 2 bitches! (Well... soon to be 3! *wink* Ho! Ho! Ho!)

Life is a long learning journey, one thing very important thing that I learn today is..

I am getting my Mac Book Pro soon within the month that is! Ho! Ho! Ho! Totally irrelevent rite? Mmm... No wonder my pilot ex bf kept saying that I should be checked for ADHD! =P
