Now I just came to realise that why e-commerce is such a huge business... It's not the I wasn't aware of it. It's just now I came to realisation how ebay's boss became a millionaire.

I was trying to get rid of some old stuff in my wardrobe. So since I shop on ebay, thought I might as well make full use of ebay to sell my stuff. Its only today then I realised the "hidden" charges. It WAS not stated on the fees section that I have to pay extras for things like listing my items in 2 categotires, adding a miserable sub-title that I could hardly see. These items are not expensive 60 or 70 cents each, nevertheless these amout to huge sums at the rate I am selling. I could not believe my eyes when I was charged more $20 for selling 10 items, this amount excludes the 5.25% of the final selling price that I have to pay ebay when my items get sold eventually.

Here is an example of billing for one of my items.

So i got charged an extra of $1.58 for this listing and a total of $3.16 just for listing my item! This is a huge business, imagine if theres a million items with the same listing category ebay would have charged a whopping $3.16million dollars!

Oh well.. this is my own mistake, will just have to pay for it this time, it might just have been a blessing that I was feeling tired and did not list out all my items.
